A distinguished businessman presented to Dr. Hogan for a solution to his failing dentition. Remarkably, the teeth were not painful to him. Actually his complaint was that they were just too mobile to eat comfortably.
After presenting all the options to the patient, Dr. Hogan planned and executed a combination of a fixed and removable system. The upper arch is a removable denture that literally locks on a bar. It does not move and does not rest on the gums. It is supported completely by dental implants. The lower arch is completely fixed on dental implants. The lower arch does not come in and out. It is cemented in place on dental implants. This gentleman loves the look and feel of his new teeth!
CASE E: MULTIPLE, FIXED BRIDGE (cemented, non-removable)
Case E: An attractive, twenty-nine-year-old female presented to Dr. Hogan with a desire to throw away her upper, removable, partial denture. She was dating again and wanted confidence and a beautiful smile. Dr. Hogan surgically placed 3 dental implants to replace the missing teeth she had in her upper right area. Dr. Hogan then restored them with 3 fixed (cemented) teeth. The patient was ecstatic about the result! She was confident in her smile and happy with the result. She could throw her partial, removable denture in the trash and eat, drink and date with hopeful joy, comfort and confidence.
Note- some dentists buy photos for marketing purposes or they take (steal) photos from the Internet to display on their website as their own. But these are real people with real stories who have been treated by Dr. Hogan. The photos are not enhanced and not airbrushed or retouched. They are exactly as they are and no more. We are proud of the results. But mostly we are proud of our patient’s high satisfaction level.
